Please read these terms carefully before using UnimaTravels services.

1. Introduction

Welcome to UnimaTravels. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or booking any travel services through us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Booking and Reservations

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is only confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from UnimaTravels and the required deposit has been received.

  • Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
  • Full payment is required 30 days before the travel date
  • Prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified
  • Prices may be subject to change due to currency fluctuations

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:

  • More than 60 days before departure: 25% of total cost
  • 30-60 days before departure: 50% of total cost
  • 15-29 days before departure: 75% of total cost
  • Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of total cost (no refund)

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellations.

4. Travel Documents

It is your responsibility to ensure you have valid travel documents including:

  • A valid passport with at least 6 months validity from your return date
  • Any required visas for the Maldives or connecting countries
  • Vaccination certificates if required

UnimaTravels is not responsible for denied entry due to improper documentation.

5. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Trip cancellation and interruption
  • Medical expenses and emergency evacuation
  • Lost or delayed baggage
  • Personal liability

6. Health and Safety

You are responsible for your own health and safety during your trip. Please:

  • Consult your doctor before traveling
  • Inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your travel
  • Follow all safety guidelines provided by hotels, tour operators, and local authorities

7. Limitation of Liability

UnimaTravels acts as an intermediary between you and various service providers. We are not liable for:

  • Acts or omissions of hotels, airlines, or other third-party service providers
  • Delays, cancellations, or changes caused by weather, natural disasters, or force majeure
  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
  • Personal injury unless caused by our direct negligence

8. Changes to Itinerary

We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Safety concerns
  • Government regulations
  • Operational requirements

We will make every effort to provide comparable alternatives when changes are necessary.

9. Complaints

If you have any complaints during your trip, please inform our representative immediately so we can address the issue. Written complaints should be submitted within 14 days of your return.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Maldives.
